This is a great subject, and just what the abused in domestic situations need. There are so many, too many. I applaud Eloise Johnson for doing this huge project of a book, because she is writing for ALL the abused. I, for one, thank her so much. I just love the picture on the front cover. It is perfect for the injustice done to the abused. This book should be in the hands of lawyers, talk show hosts, and anyone who has the power to produce the effects this book offers. I am glad I found this on the book site. I can't wait for my copy to be mailed to me. I hope this author has the chance to go on the talk circuits, both radio and television, so that the justice laws can be really be changed to JUSTICE!
I have been waiting for a book like this for twelve years ever since I went through a divorce. Her critique of the legal system as it relates to divorce is astute. Her ideas for how to address the inequities in the system are excellent. She went through an ordeal and came out on the other side with a loving, fighting spirit.
